MS Nordkapp is one of Hurtigruten’s expedition ships built in 1996 and the interiors were updated in 2016 with classic Scandinavian design. The stylish yet understated interiors provide the ideal environment for exploring the coast in a dynamic way.
The North Cape is one of the highlights of the Hurtigruten voyage up the coast, being the northernmost point of mainland Europe.
MS Nordkapp runs lectures on a variety of topics relevant to the route she is following and the season. As of 2016, she now has an expert expedition team. Lectures are conducted inside the ship, or weather permitting, out on deck up close to the subjects of the lectures. MS Nordkapp also runs various exploratory activities and excursions guided by the expedition team.
MS Nordkapp has a large sun deck and panorama lounge, equipped with comfortable chairs and a great vantage point to watch the beautiful surrounds roll by. The ship has artworks by famous Norwegian artist, Karl Erik Harr and is part of the fleet built in the 1990s but upgraded with junior suites and Jacuzzis in recent years.
