Begin your journey in Stockholm, before making your way up north to experience the unspoiled nature of northern Sweden. You will then adventure to Norway and the magnificent Lofoten Islands, where unique landscapes await. Continue on to Finnish Lapland, the homeland of the indigenous Sami people, all the while with the Aurora Borealis as your guiding light.

Arrival into Stockholm Airport, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon at your own pace before a short walking tour in the evening, a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow travel companions.


After breakfast, we depart for a full morning sightseeing tour of the ‘Beauty on the Water’, as Stockholm is so dearly known. After a walk through the Gamla Stan and other sites in the city, we conclude at Arlanda Airport where we will board a flight for Lulea. Transfer to hotel, where an evening at leisure will be enjoyed. B


Free time this morning to enjoy Lulea, the largest city in Swedish Lapland. In the afternoon, we journey towards Kiruna – enjoying the sweeping landscapes of northern Sweden. Upon arrival,
we check into Camp Ripan, enjoying their Aurora Spa and surrounding nature. Tonight, enjoy a breathtaking journey up to the Aurora Sky Station in Abisko. B


A short drive after breakfast to Jukkasjarvi, where we have a guided tour of the world-famous Ice Hotel, the first of its kind anywhere in the world. A quick stop to Jukkasjarvi Church the oldest building in the area, built over 400 years ago. We then visit Nutti Sami Siida, a Sami run visitor centre where we enjoy the company of reindeer and a traditional Sami Lunch. Afterwards we will return to Kiruna. BL


The Arctic Circle Train awaits! The three-and-a- half-hour journey will take us through to stunning Norway, arriving into Narvik, where some short free time will be enjoyed before we journey over to Svolvaer. Tonight, we stay in the truly unique cabins at Svinoya Rorbuer, where you will live like a local and enjoy free time in this beautiful fishing village. Apart from cuisine, Svolvaer offers magnificent nature, galleries and the well-known Lofoten War Memorial Museum. B


No trip to Norway is complete without getting up close and personal with the Vikings, so this morning we visit the Viking Lofotr Museum, where the largest excavation of a known Viking house awaits. We then continue our journey through to the idyllic village of Leknes, before reaching Reine for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue via Nusfjord and return to Svolvaer in the early evening. BL


This morning, we depart by coach to Henningsvaer, one of the most famous fishing villages in the area. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful town, then continue towards Kabelvaag, another important fishing village, for a visit to the Nord Museum, where the history of the local fishing industry is presented in one of the best-preserved squire farms of Lofoten. Return to Svolvaer and enjoy some free time prior to this evening’s optional tour. B


This morning we drive north to Tromso and along the way we stop for an included visit to the famous Polar Park – the world’s northernmost animal park. You will have the unique opportunity to meet wolves, bears, deer, elk and reindeer. Once in Tromso, the evening is at leisure. B


This morning we enjoy a three-hour sightseeing tour. Visit the Tromso University Museum where you will learn fascinating facts on nature and culture
in northern Norway. Learn about the indigenous Sami people, their traditional culture and recent history. We then travel across the Tromso Bridge to visit the Arctic Cathedral, before ending with a visit to the Arctic experience centre Polari, where the co-dependency of sea and land life is both seen and felt. Tonight, we enjoy a special husky experience at an aurora camp, where 300 friendly Alaskan huskies are waiting to greet you and enjoy some cuddles, followed by an affectionate and playful visit to the puppy enclosure. Afterwards, we enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner in our cosy Gamme-hut. Our guide will keep a close eye on the sky for us and the program will be adjusted accordingly, if the Northern Lights decide to appear. BD


After breakfast, we journey to Alta. Stunning scenery and magnificent nature will be accompany us across 300 kilometres, including two ferry crossings. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. After checking into our hotel, free time in the evening. BL


This morning, we will experience the prestigious Alta museum, a winner of the European Museum of the Year award. Situated at the site of early settlement of Finnmark dating from around 11,000 years ago, the museum presents exhibitions on local culture and historic industries. Afterwards we will pay a visit to the spectacular Northern Lights Cathedral located in the heart of town. Tonight, an optional northern lights tour at the Sorrisniva Ice Hotel is offered. B


We travel this morning to Kirkenes, the capital of the Barents Region and the gateway to the east, taking you through beautiful northern Norway
as your eyes feast on breathtaking nature, as you sit back and watch the landscape unfold. You will make a stop along the way in Karasjok to enjoy lunch. Arrive in Kirkenes and check-in at your hotel for an evening at leisure. BL


One of the most truly unique experiences awaits this morning, the King Crab Safari. A highlight of any visit to northern Norway, is to taste the Red King Crab, also known as the Kamchatka Crab – where they originated before being brought over to Western Russia in the Soviet Era. Today, the King Crab is a true delicacy, known around the world. Once you have caught your King Crabs on the Kirkenes Fjord, you will visit a remote cabin where you will enjoy the crab for lunch. Afterwards, we depart Kirkenes to the centre of the Sapmi cultural region, Inari. We visit the Sajos Sami Cultural Centre, the centre for Sami self-governance. We arrive into Saariselka in the early evening. BL


Located on the outskirts of Rovaniemi, the heart
of Finnish Lapland, we make our way to Sinetta, where on the way we will meet traditional Sami farmers who will tell us all about their reindeer. A true highlight of our journey is when a two-person sleigh, pulled by your reindeer, will take you through the nearby wilderness. Afterwards, a lunch will be enjoyed at the farm. Tonight, we check into the Arctic Snow Hotel, where an overnight stay in a glass igloo awaits. After enjoying a three-course meal in a traditional wooden Kota, go back to the comfort of your glass igloo to try your luck with spotting the Northern Lights. BLD


Onwards to the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi,
but just before we arrive to the home of Santa, we enjoy a husky safari. The head musher will tell us all about the life and training of these Arctic animals, before riding through the Finnish forest with a pack of huskies. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional outdoor campfire lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the world- famous Santa Claus Village, where we take a step into the magical world of Santa’s home and meet Santa himself. Check in to our hotel, with the rest of the evening at leisure. BL


Today, we journey to the coastal town of Kemi, for a day full of activities. First, we visit the Snow Castle where you will see the unique snow sculptures. Afterwards, you will board the Sampo Icebreaker. Nothing compares to breaking through the frozen waters of the Gulf of Bothnia, where, in the middle of the largest ice field in Europe, you will have the opportunity to go into the sea and float, with, of course, a warm survival suit. For those who do take the plunge, will be rewarded with a certificate by the ship authorities. We return to Rovaniemi for the early evening. BL
