An escorted tour means that you will be travelling together with other passengers on a group basis. A coach driver and multi lingual tour guide, except where ‘English only’ is indicated, accompanies each tour. Carefully selected hotels offer comfortable accommodation with private facilities. For each itinerary we have chosen the most scenic overnight stops with the best available hotels in the area. In as much as Scandinavian hotels generally have small rooms, we advise against requesting triple rooms

A non-escorted tour means you will be travelling on your own without a guide. Transfers are not included between railway stations, airports, etc and you are responsible for carrying your luggage at all times. All hotels and transport services are pre-booked and a fully detailed itinerary is supplied. In many cases hotels have been chosen because of their convenient location to rail and bus services. All rooms have private facilities unless otherwise stated.
Suitable alternative hotels may replace those mentioned in itinerary when necessary. For your convenience please try to limit your baggage to a convenient size and weight for easy handling.

A partly escorted tour means you can be travelling together with other passengers on a group basis or you could be travelling by yourself. Tours can consist of an escorted portion with other services not being guided. This generally is transportation services – train, bus or flight sectors. When you arrive at your destination you maybe met by local guides for your stay. Please refer to each tour for inclusions.
