Day 1 Helsinki Spend the day taking in Helsinki’s sights at your leisure. Day 2 Helsinki – Rovaniemi Fly from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. (B) Day 3 Rovaniemi Spend the day exploring this unique Arctic city at your leisure. Rovaniemi is one of Finland’s best skiing areas and hosts the International Snow Sculpture Festival during winter. Spring days are usually sparkling clear while in summer you will experience the magical midnight sun. (B) Day 4 Rovaniemi – Inari Catch a local bus to Inari, a renowned centre of Sami culture. The town offers a fascinating insight into the timeless traditions of Lapland’s native people. (B) Day 5 Inari Spend the day at your leisure or join one of our optional activities. In summer we highly recommend a cruise on Lake Inari or a walk along the Artisan Trail to meet some of the local craftspeople. During winter you can enjoy snowmobile rides and reindeer sledding (additional cost applies). (B)
Day 6 Inari – Kirkenes – Norwegian Coastal Voyage Enjoy a scenic minibus ride to Kirkenes, learning more about Sami culture along the way. Board the ship in Kirkenes and commence your coastal voyage early this afternoon. (BD)
Day 7 Honningsvag – Hammerfest – Tromso Pay a visit to Hammerfest, the world’s northernmost town, before heading south to Tromso. (BLD) Day 8 Tromso – Stamsund The ship negotiates an intricate network of isles and inlets as we pass through the legendary Lofoten Islands, one of Norway’s most beautiful stretches of coastline. Stop at Svolvaer this evening before bidding farewell to the islands at Stamsund. (BLD) Day 9 Bodo – Rovik Enter a world of legends and folklore as we cross the Arctic Circle and sail south past the peaks of the Seven Sisters. You will also have a chance to visit Rorvik’s award-winning maritime museum. (BLD)
Day 10 Trondheim – Alesund Arrive at Trondheim early this morning and spend some time exploring the stunning medieval city. Continue past Hitra Island to Kristiansund and Molde before making a midnight stop in Alesund. (BLD) Day 11 Alesund – Bergen Weave through rocky islands before disembarking the ship in Bergen. Make your own way to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. (BL) Day 12 Bergen The tour ends after breakfast at your hotel. (B)
